Meet Charles Dickens’ original, beloved characters in this Little Unicorn easy-to-read abridged classic. American illustrator Walt Sturrock created twenty-one full color oil paintings to bring the excitement and warmth of Scrooge’s adventures into your child’s life. Meet Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit, and the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future as they teach the tight-fisted Ebenezer Scrooge about the joys of giving in this timeless story of Christmas. Sized for small hands, this high quality, hardcover book is a valuable addition to every child’s library.

"Marley was dead, to begin with."

Work Description

An allegorical novella descibing the rehabilitation of bitter, miserly businessman Ebenezer Scrooge. The reader is witness to his transformation as Scrooge is shown the error of his ways by the ghost of former partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas past, present and future. The first of the Christmas books (Dickens released one a year from 1843–1847) it became an instant hit.
