A supplementary volume of poems was also issued in 1725, "To which is prefix'd, an essay onthe art, rise, and progress of the stage, in Greece, Rome, and England [by C. Gildon] ...The whole revis'd and corrected, with a preface by Dr. Sewell. London, Printed by J. Darby for A. Bettesworth [etc.]

Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) copy shelved under G.4021.1 bound variously in modern red morocco with papier tourniquet (vol. 1) and ca. 18th-century red morocco panelled and tooled in gilt with spines rebacked (vols. 2-6). The armorial bookplate of the Barton Library is present on all front pastedowns and that of the Cowper family, with the motto "Tuum est," on vols. 2-6. A small publisher's advertisement for Halliwell-Phillipps' Shakespeare folio edition is laid onto the pastedown of vol. 2.
