Friedrich Marx

[Deutsch] Friedrich Marx (geb. 1859 in Bessungen, heute zu Darmstadt; gest. 17. Oktober 1941 in Bonn) war ein deutscher klassischer Philologe. Er gilt als letzter Vertreter der „Bonner Schule der klassischen Philologie“. Marx war ein Neffe des Architekturprofessors Erwin Marx (1841–1901).

[English] Friedrich Marx (b. 1859 in Bessungen, now at Darmstadt; d. 1941 in Bonn) was a German classical scholar. He is considered the last representative of the “Bonn school of classical philology”. Marx was a nephew of the architecture professor Erwin Marx (1841-1901).
