An excellent book, it changed the way I thought about poetry!
David B, not a poetry reader, but I enjoyed, 07/31/2008
I was moved, I had so many emotions sad, happy, laughter, and the love emotions, which sent chills through my body.

A GREAT BOOK

I highly recommend this book. It really portrays the emotions that a lot of us have felt at times in our lives & how spirituality can help you overcome your troubled past. The humor in the book is very funny also.

I love the new book, “From Hell and Back” it is such an excellent read. This book stands out and beside itself, when compared to other books of poetry which are all lovey –dovey or all angry or all sad, and they leave the reader thinking, has this poet/author ever experienced life? Jane Nazrat’s book holds your attention the entire time because it has a variety of poetry, from love/romance to love/heartache to life’s pains and joys to silly fun poems, political poems, prayers, haikus and so much more. (Additionally, I must say that in general I hate haikus, most poets concentrate on the structure rather than the content, but not Jane Nazrat her haikus are fabulous and thought provoking.) Jane Nazrat’s observations and insight into the human mind and emotion is undeniable, you feel as though she’s been in your shoes and vice versa. Her poetry is clear and comprehensive and does not alienate even the most novice of poetry readers/lovers. I would recommend “From Hell and Back” to people of all ages.
