"In this study Michael Saenger illustrates his general account of the formal properties of front matter - titles and subtitles, prefatory epistles, and commendatory verses - with readings of specific examples, including Feltham's Resolves, A Myrrovre for Magistrates, and Sidney's Arcadia.
