A tale about a young boy who is deserted in the woods by his seven selfish brothers after their father, a woodcutter, dies. The boy survives with the help of Caesar, his dog, and many years later is reunited with his brothers, wood-cutters who have now lost their livelihood. They ask his forgiveness and he charitably makes it possible for them to live and prosper.
