This is an early science fiction adventure story that has been a delight for readers everywhere. The idea of being able to traverse the world in eighty days was considered to be unbelievable when it was first published. Today, we take for granted that travel was once so difficult and perilous. I find this story to be enjoyable each time I re-read it.
