The first leaf of the facsimile is lettered A, the pages following being numbered 1-302 at the top; at the bottom the pages are numbered 1-304, with indication of the passages of De re publica contained on each page, and also of the passages of the commentary on the Psalms by St. Augustine, which has been superimposed on Cicero's work.

The text has subtitle: Prolegomena de fatis Bibliothecae monasterii S. Columbana bobiensis et de codice ipso vat. lat. 5757.
