Edition Notes

There is a rule over the roman numeral dates on the title page.

"An exposition of the doctrine of the Church of England, .. The third edition."; "A defence of the Exposition of the doctrine of the Church of England,"; "A discourse of the Holy Eucharist," each have separate title pages dated 1687, 1686, and 1687, respectively, and separate pagination and register; each has been published separately with Wing entries W244, W236, and W240.

Each tract has an initial imprimatur leaf and a table of contents; the first and third tract have a final advertisment page; the second tract includes "Appendix containing a collection of the following pieces." which has a separate dated title page and bibliography, and with the register and pagination continuous from the second tract.; the second tract also includes errata at the end of its text.
