Tast, Brigitte

Bereits während ihres Grafik-Studiums (FH Hildesheim) wurde für Brigitte Tast die Fotografie - auch durch ihren Fachdozenten Umbo - zu einem besonders lebensnahen Ausdrucksmittel. Gerade ihr narrativer Umgang mit diesem Medium ermöglicht ihr, eigentlich Privates fotografisch umzusetzen. Gelebte physische und psychische Erfahrungen wurden so zu einem wesentlichen Teil ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit. Noch in der Filmklasse der HBK Braunschweig (Meisterschülerin bei Prof. Gerhard Büttenbender) veröffentlichte sie zusammen mit ihrem Mann, Hans-Jürgen Tast, erste Foto-Text-Kombinationen in Buchform (in der eigenen Publikations-Reihe „Kulleraugen").
Den ganz direkten Kontakt zum Publikum suchte und erreichte sie aber in den darauf folgenden Jah-ren mit Diageschichten, einer Eigen-Erfindung. Ungewöhnliche Live-Aufführungen bei Film- und Foto-Festivals, in Museen, Galerien sowie Art-Kinos, für die sie immer selbst anreist.
