Régine Deforges

Née dans le Poitou, Régine Deforges est élevée dans des institutions religieuses. Très tôt les livres seront son univers d'élection. Tour à tour libraire, relieur, éditeur,scénariste, réalisateur et écrivain, sa volonté de liberté d'expression lui vaut bien des déboires. Elle est en 68 la première femme éditeur, mais le premier ouvrage qui paraît, attribué à Aragon, est saisi 48 heures après la publication.
En 1974, elle publie un catalogue d'ouvrages anciens : Les Femmes avant 1960 et, en 1975, ses entretiens avec l'auteur d'Histoire d'O : O m'a dit. En 1976 paraît son premier roman, Blanche et Lucie, l'histoire de sa grand-mère, suivi du Cahier volé puis en 1982, Les Enfants de Blanche, La Bicyclette bleue, Prix des Maisons de la Presse 1983 et Léa au pays des Dragons. En 1983, la suite de La Bicyclette bleue : 101, avenue Henri-Martin. Première œuvre erotique. Les Contes pervers, est écrite et réalisée au cinéma en 1980, avec succès. La même année, Régine Deforges publie La Révolte des nonnes, roman historique.
