Beth, eleven weeks pregnant, pays her husband, Daniel, a visit at the county lock-up. While Daniel is fighting for his life in prison, Beth gives birth to a baby boy, Justin. As Justin grows it becomes clear that he has been given a special gift. He begins performing miracles that gain national media attention.
Meanwhile in Paris, FBI Agent James Adams is investigating a terrorist cell. After taking down the terrorists he locates a dagger with a serpent-engraved handle. On one of the suspect’s computers he discovers a cryptic document he cannot decipher. After being re-assigned, Adams is partnered with, Agent Sara Kimball, who is investigating terrorist, Rojas Fuentes. When they seize Fuentes’ ship in Mexico, they locate five tactical nuclear bombs and an identical dagger which links Fuentes to the terrorists in Paris.
In Pinehaven, Justin is helping people to positively change their lives and is deemed the messiah. Enlisting the help of a friend in the CIA, Adams breaks the cryptic code. What Adams finds brings him to Pinehaven, where he discovers a connection between his investigation and Justin. Is this international conspiracy powerful enough to destroy the world?
