"In the mountains of West Virginia, in the poor Appalachian region, lay dying an old-fashioned, circuit-riding Methodist preacher by the name of Dr. Jake Bell." So begins the account of Rod Bell Sr.'s life story. In these autobiographical sketches, Dr. Bell shares childhood memories and recounts life-changing decisions. He received his B.A. in Bible and holds an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Bob Jones University and an honorary Doctor of Sacred Theology from San Francisco Baptist Theological Seminary. Rod Bell and his wife, Lenore, live in Virginia, where he pastors Tabernacle Baptist Church and is president of the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship. - Back cover.
