This is a tips, hints, and strategy guide for the arcade video game Pac-Man. Along with the text, it has many illustrations, of the area of play with arrows showing the player which routes through the maze they should take. It details 'Scoring,' ways to escape the ghosts, and even ways to tell what speed the machine is playing, and which patterns to choose, including those for the "New Chip" release. It also tells of what will happen to the game when it reaches it's 240th key, and how the machine then malfunctions. The Co-Author was the world Champion at the time of writing the book. The last page of the book has a letter written by Tim Lee, to Bantam Books, describing Birkner's accomplishment while he was filming it. There are several different editions of this book know all with the same ISBN number, the differences come with a sticker attached to the book such as "Special Book Fair Edition," and "Special Edition," however the contents are exactly the same. This is the third, book in the Bantam 'Master' video game book series.
