Title within a woodcut compartment with the Queen's arms at the top and a tiger's head, Barker's device, at the bottom (Cf. McKerrow and Ames). It was first used in the Bible of 1579.
Barker's business was carried on by deputies after 1587 and licence to print the injunctions was obtained in 1589 (Cf. DNB 3:96). Earliest ed. of the Injunctions by the deputies of C. Barker in the BM catalog is dated [1591?].
Imprint suggested by the STC.
