The work, known also as Practica Papiensis, had developed by accretion and comment from Ferrari's original collection of formulas used in civil, canonistic, and criminal procedures in early 15th cent.; further changes were forced by objections raised by the Roman Curia in 1559.
Printed in two columns.
Device of Altobello Salicato on t.p. (allegorical Fortitude, motto "Materiam superat opus", as Zappella fig. 564 but 63 mm high).
