The work, known also as Practica Papiensis, developed by accretion and comment from Ferrari's original collection of formulas used in civil, canonistic, and criminal procedures in early 15th cent.
Printed in two columns, sometimes reduced in size to accomodate marginal notes.
Red and black text of the t.p. is surrounded by a rich multi-themed frame and interrupted by two woodcuts: "Jo. Pe." lecturing, and students (?) traveling.
Imprint abridged from colophon where it reads: Practica Celeberrimi J.U. scientissimi .d. Joā. Pet. de Ferrariis cū summarijs nouiter additis Lugdun̄. in edibus Joānis Crespin ... impressa anno dn̄i M.cccccxxx. die .viij. Julij. Impensis vero honesti viri Jacobi .q. de Giunta Florentini ac sociorum Feliciter explicit.
