Without a "fourth edition" statement (cf. NUC pre-56 NW0352957, LC 29-24285). This issue postdated: Brown Univ. copy has inscriptions dated Dec. 1854.
Papers which appeared in Blackwood's magazine from March 1822 to February 1835.
Contains also a "History of Blackwood's magazine", by R.S. Mackenzie, "Translation from an ancient Chaldee manuscript", by Hogg and others, "Christopher in the tent" and a poem "Metricum symposium ambrosianum".
Bound in green cloth with a straight-grain morocco pattern; covers with a double panel design of blind rules; spines lettered in gold above an oval portrait of Wilson.
