An edition of [Letter to] Dear Garrison (1862)

[Letter to] Dear Garrison

Oliver Johnson states that he misunderstood Mr. May concerning the invitation of Anna Elizabeth Dickinson to the Annual Meeting, having been under the impression that she would be one of the keynote speakers, rather than simply attending and participating at her own inclination. Johnson urges Garrison to prepare the public announcement of the meeting at once, and relays the details concerning participating speakers. Johnson recommends that Garrison limit the number of speakers on the first morning's session to three for greater effect.
