Edition Notes
The American Antiquarian Society copy is a fragment, consisting of p. 17-76, with signatures C through I in fours and two leaves of gathering K. Title taken from Evans, who evidently derived it from an advertisement by Hugh Gaine in the New-York gazette and weekly Mercury for Oct. 11, 1779. The "Song. The queen's birth day. Newtown, Queen's County, Long-Island, May 19, 1779," p. 61, supports the supposed date and place of publication.
"Copy of a letter from E-- H--d, of London, in the year 1770, to the Reverend Doctor Rogers, of New-York. London, Nov. 15, 1770."--p. 57-59.
"New and old compositions, by favour of respectable subscribers."--p. 60-72.
"The procession, with the standard of faction, a cantata."--p. 73-76+
