A young and untested Cherokee witnesses the death of his brother at the hands of a Seneca warrior and vows to retaliate. Seething with anger, Young Puppy is impulsive and impatient as he begins his journey under the guidance of a more experienced and circumspect friend. Ultimately, however, their trek north into enemy country could have fateful consequences for both the Cherokee and the Seneca peoples, setting off a cycle of ambush and revenge that could spark all-out war.
