People had always claimed that the House in the Snow was haunted. And Benjamin never meant to go near it...until he met Mackie in the forest. Mackie has escaped from the House and he knows its secret. There are robbers -- invisible robbers -- living in the House, not ghosts. And the robbers have kidnapped other boys besides Mackie. Benjamin knows he has to help Mackie's friends escape. But how will 9 boys win against 20 robbers with guns, knives...and invisible powers?
