"Ranging from drawing, watercolor, and hand-printing in collage and photomontage, and mainly dating from the 1960s and 1970s, the exhibition includes works on paper by American artists Nancy Spero (1926- ) and Martha Rosler and by Vietnamese artists Nguyen Cong Do (1930- ), Nguyen Van Da (1928- ), Nguyen Thu (1930), Quang Tho (1929-2001), Truong Hieu (1939- ), and Vu Giang Huong (1930- ), the last six of whom fought and/or traveled with the North Vietnamese army suring the war. The exhibition also highlights the contemporary photo-based works of two American-Vietnamese artists, Dinh Q. Lê (1968- ) and Binh Danh (1977- ), and features a large new wall drawing by Nancy Spero."--P. 6.
