As originally published, the work purports to be a satire in the manner of the Greek poet Sotades written by Luisa Sigea of Toledo, Spain, and translated by Johannes van Meurs. It was actually written in Latin by Nicolas Chorier. Cf. Les livres de l'Enfer / Pascal Pia, I, col. 326 ff.

"Compuesta en seis coloquios, que son: La escaramuza, El amor como en lesbos, Anatomía, El combate nupcial, Historias de lascivia, Figuras y maneras."

In Spanish, translated from Latin.
