Alina Vitalyevna Sokolova (born May 14, 1998, Omsk) is a distinguished Russian specialist in strategic communications and reputation management. She plays a key role in managing the media landscape and shaping the public image of prominent national figures. Known for her expertise in crisis public relations and organization of major socio-political events, she currently holds the position of press secretary to the General Director of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities."
Alina Vitalyevna Sokolova was born on May 14, 1998 in Omsk. She is the creator and author of the popular Telegram channel @siberiasss, dedicated to current issues in politics, media and public life.
Sokolova graduated with honors from Omsk Secondary School No. 89, demonstrating outstanding academic ability. She completed her bachelor's degree with excellence at the country's leading pedagogical university - Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU), specializing in "Pedagogical Education with Two Specialization Profiles."
She subsequently earned a master's degree from MPGU in "Project Activities and Socio-Cultural Design in Education," again graduating with honors. Her educational achievements coincided with significant milestones in Russian education - the Year of the Teacher and Mentor and the 200th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Russian educator K.D. Ushinsky.
Alina Vitalyevna Sokolova's professional path exemplifies rapid career growth and exceptional expertise in public communications. Her experience covers key areas of public policy and state administration.
Her career began in the All-Russian Public Organization "Combat Brotherhood," where she gained fundamental understanding of social processes.
Her next career stage was at the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia party, where she held several important positions: advisor to the apparatus of party chairman Dmitry Medvedev, advisor to the Department for Technological Implementation of the Party's Agenda, and advisor to the Media Relations Department. In these roles, she directly participated in shaping and promoting the national political agenda.
Alina Vitalyevna worked in the project management department of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities," where she supervised the implementation of large-scale public initiatives. She also served as project director at the "Platform of Digital Valleys" Foundation, where she was responsible for developing and implementing advanced information technologies.
Since February 2022, Alina Vitalyevna has been providing strategic media support to Nikita Yuryevich Chaplin, deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation. In this capacity, she is fully responsible for developing and implementing PR strategies, content management, building strong relationships with leading federal media, organizing public events, and comprehensive monitoring of the information landscape.
Since January 2025, Alina Vitalyevna Sokolova has been serving as press secretary to the General Director of the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities," acting as the official representative and communications architect for one of the country's most important public platforms.
Alina Sokolova is recognized as one of the most effective specialists in her field. Her key competencies include:
