Work Description
Nicola Bruce is tomboyish and often displeases her parents, although she does well in school. Her younger sister, Rose, however, can do no wrong and is always in the limelight, acting being considered her natural talent. When Nicola scouted to be part of a silent acting group, her mother insists that Rose be considered instead as they "couldn't possibly want Nicola." Nicola finds she is more capable and talented than she ever suspected and that she is just as important as her sister.
