Holograph, signed.

On pages 1-2 of this manuscript, there is a letter by William Lloyd Garrison to George William Benson, dated Nov. 2, 1833. Garrison sends the warrant for the national convention and urges George W. Benson to circulate it and attend the convention. Garrison gratefully remembers his visit to the house of George W. Benson's father.

On page 3 of this manuscript, there is a printed circular letter dated New York, October 29, 1833. It is an invitation to the convention on the 4th of December, which is convening for the purpose of forming a National Anti-Slavery Society. It is signed by Arthur Tappan, Joshua Leavitt, and Elizur Wright.
