This is a story about a young Indian boy, something of an out cast, who through following the command of a dying leader becomes the first to ride a horse and becomes the tribal leader. A great read for youngsters teaching them that anything is possible if you work for it.

August 4, 2019 | Edited by Andre Robatino | Couldn't be in America since the horses ridden by Native Americans were brought by Europeans a few hundred years ago. Mammoths went extinct long before that. Although I haven't read the whole book, I didn't see any references to location in the book itself. |
