An edition of A form of prayer (1689)

A form of prayer

to be used in all churches and chapels throughout the Kingdom of England, Dominion of Wales, and town of Berwick upon Tweed, on Wednesday the fourth day of April, being the fast-day appointed by proclamation, to be observed in a most solemn and devout manner: for imploring the continuance of a blessing from Almighty God upon Her Majesty, and her allies, engaged in the present war, and for restoring and perpetuating peace, safety and prosperity to us and our kingdoms, and the nations and states in alliance with us, and disappointing the boundless ambition of France.
