Colour plate is an unsigned variation of the "Nelson print", i.e. a pen-and-ink lithograph printed in a brownish purple ink with areas printed in colour with metal and possibly wood. Cf. Gascoigne, Bamber. How to identify prints, 1986, p. 30-31.

MASS copy: Bound in green coarse morocco-grain cloth blocked in gold and blind. Spine blocked in gold with the title and a pictorial design showing a man, a serpent and a dove. Upper cover blocked in gold with a small emblem incorporating similar pictorial elements. Spine with imprint: "Nelson & Sons.".
