A critical edition of Francesco Pipino's Latin translation of Marco Polo from the Franco-Venetian original, with Spanish translation on facing pages. Included are Columbus's marginalia, lacking in Gil's English translation of the text, also issued by Testimonio as no. 5 in the series Tabula Americae under title: The book of Marco Polo.
A facsimile of Columbus's copy (of the edition printed between 1483 and 1485 by Gerard Leeu at Gouda) was published by Testimonio under title: Libro de las maravillas de Mundo.
Includes bibliographical references.
