The ten pound act

that is to say, an act for the more speedy recovery of debts to the value of ten pounds. : Enacted into a law by the people of the state of New-York, in Senate and Assembly represented, the 17th day of April, in the year of our Lord 1787, being the XIth year of the independence of the United States of America. : To which is added an appendix. Containing--the 15th section of the act for the relief of debtors--an act repealing 2 sections of the said act--a summons; warrant; subpoena; venire; execution against the goods and body, do. against the goods only; peace warrant, &c.
