The ten pound act

that is to say, an act for the more speedy recovery of debts to the value of ten pounds, : enacted into a law by the people of the state of New-York, in Senate and Assembly represented, the 17th day of April, in the year of our Lord 1787, being the XIth year of the independence of the United States of America, and the additional act thereto, passed the 9th day of April, 1795, entitled, "An act to amend an act for the more speedy recovery of debts to the value of ten pounds. Also, the 15th section of the act for the relief of debtors; and the act repealing the second section of the said act. : To which are added several forms necessary to be known.
