Ann Mah is a food and travel writer. She attended the University of California at Los Angeles, and moved to New York City. In 2003 she moved to Beijing to work as a food writer. In 2005 she studied in Italy on a culinary scholarship. In 2008, she moved to Paris. In 2010, her first novel, Kitchen Chinese was published.
