James Hogan

James Hogan had an outstanding career in broadcast TV producing some of Britain's best loved shows. He was editor of BBC TV's Question Time, worked for Zenith Productions which made Inspector Morse, Spitting Image, and for SelecTV which made Birds of a Feather and Lovejoy.

He was educated at Oxford University, England where he wrote a thesis on counter-culture in society and art. His work as a painter has received tremendous critical acclaim and a public exhibition opened in Cork Street, Mayfair in 2010 attracted hundreds of people at the opening.

He is the author of various books including the "Art Upstart", an autobiographical journey illustrated by over forty paintings. Editor of the BBC program "Elections, Review of the Year" in 1987-1992. Producer of the BBC TV show: This Week, Next Week in 1987. Editorial director at Selec TV in London in 1994-1996, producer of the BBC TV series: Lovejoy and Birds of a Feather.

James Hogan was the editor of 40 episodes of the BBC TV program Question Time 1990-1991 including specials on the First Gulf war and the fall of Margaret Thatcher.

British television producer and writer of news, current affairs, documentaries and painter. He lives in London.
