An edition of Reprographic Methods (1986)

Reprographic Methods

Reprographic methods provides the technical information required by anyone involved in the field of reprographics and general printing. It deals specifically with the main reprographic function of small offset printing rather than covering areas such as microfilming and document copying.
Each of the six chapters deal with a specialised area of the manufacturing process ranging from the origination of material through to the finishing of the printed sheet. The appendices look at areas such as the types of paper and boards used in reprographics, ISO paper sizes and the importance of temperature control within the printing room. A glossary of technical terms is also included.
As well as appealing to people in the printing industry, this book is also suitable for a wide range of courses including CGLI 517 (Reprographics), 518 (Printing), 523 (Printing), BTEC Certificate and Diploma in Printing Technology, the Institute of Reprographics Certificate in Reprographic Technology and similar courses in which reprographics form a part.
