Edition Notes

Imperfect: lacks signature a₁₄̲, containing commendatory verse (cf. collation given by Greg in Capell's Shakespeariana; Hoe, Early Eng. books, and the Huth catalogue)

First folio; includes the plays not hitherto printed, except the Wild-goose chase, which was missing, but recovered and printed in 1652.

"The Epistle dedicatorie" is signed by John Lowin, Joseph Taylor, and eight others; "To the reader," by Ja. Shirley, who is usually regarded as the editor.
