Joseph Gregory Percy Irausquin (Oranjestad 26 June 1969 - Amsterdam 14 August 2008): one of the most popular fashion designers in the Netherlands. His designs are devoid of pretension, chic, glamorous and colourful. Emphatically meant to celebrate life and thus a reflection of how Percy himself was in life. Five years ago Percy died completely unexpected, only 39 years old. Carin Verbruggen and Ferry Drenthem Soesman fulfill an old promise by photographing a large and representative selection of the highlights of his oeuvre. That has resulted in a beautiful book. 'Percy Irausquin. With Love for Love' is a tribute to Percy's sparkling designs. The book contains besides pictures of his dresses also design drawings, resulting in a personal and intimate portrait of the designer. A must have for Percy's fans and a source of inspiration for every fashion lover.
