This edition of Caslon's catalogue was originally published in 1921 (the date of the introduction). Many of the specimen pages were reprinted without change from the previous catalogue (dated 1911), and include specimen settings with dates between 1911 and 1918.

Includes specimens of the types then available, beginning with "Caslon Old Face ... ", plus numerals, fractions, brackets, borders, ornaments, vignettes and a separately-paginated catalogue of "Brass rule ... ", "Printing materials ... ' etc.
