With penciled numbers on front pastedown, tipped in note on British Museum stationery with inked ms. quoting William Maskell's notes in his copy of this title now in the British Museum. Contemporary ms. notations on A2, extensive mss. on A8 verso. Possible name on B1; marginalia on versos of a7, a8 and d8; on recto of e7, verso of h4, rectos of h5, h8, and p1; on v1 verso, recto of v7. Marks and drawings on v7 recto. Pencil notes of B. Quaritch and F. Ferguson [?] on lower pastedown. Bound in period style blind embossed black morocco by Riviere & Son. All edges gilt. Housed in light brown morocco fire-resisting pull-off case by Zaehnsdorf.
