Translation of: Cum sicuti accepimus, first printed in Rome, 1648 and in French, Paris, 1648.
Printed in French and Latin in parallel columns.
Concerns the disagreement between the Jesuits and their conversion methods in Mexico and the opinions of Palafox y Mendoza on that subject.
Two states of the title page exist: the first is more expertly printed, title is printed in 10 lines, and p. 7 has catchword "Cō-"; the other title page is more crudely printed, title is printed in 9 lines, and the catchword on p. 7 is "Con"; both states of the title page have woodcut vignette of the papal arms.
