Samuel Joseph May reports that he has spent the past month in Glen Haven, where his failing health has been much-improved owing to the treatment he is receiving there. May informs Garrison that he has only just received the copy of "Memoirs of Cyrus Peirce" sent to him by Mr. Barnard, and copies for Garrison a paragraph which he states was omitted from the text by Barnard. May notifies Garrison that he may publish this passage in the Liberator, should he wish.
