Fearing that he had neglected to properly stamp his last letter to William Lloyd Garrison, Oliver Johnson writes Garrison to inform him of the schedule for the upcoming "Pa. meeting", and inquires of Garrison his preference for passing several days in New York City as Johnson's guest, as he had planned a social gathering for Garrison's visit that he need notify the other guests of the exact date. Johnson states his wish that Helen Garrison will be joining Garrison on his voyage.
