William Lloyd Garrison tells about his second bad fall and the medical treatment he has received for the injuries. He is now being treated by Dr. Dow. Garrison writes that "Henry and Charlotte [Anthony] will leave for Washington, via New York, in the course of an hour." William Lloyd Garrison misses Fanny Garrison Villard very much. He is staying at the Anthony's house in thieir absence. Garrison urges Fanny G. Villard to visit Mr. and Mrs. Alfred H. Love in Philadelphia. Garrison gives traveling instructions. Mrs. William Lloyd Garrison is going to Providence for further treatment by Dr. Dow. William L. Garrison is writing the history of the anti-slavery cause for Ticknor and Fields. Garrison sympathizes with Henry Villard "as to his neuralgic or catarrhal pains."
