Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Anne Warren Weston writes: "I am desirous that the non resistance Society should possess an organ of communication with the public other than the Liberator... I fear that the introduction of non resistance articles into the Liberator will ultimately prove a source of vexation and discord to the Abolitionists ..." Most of the abolitionists think that W.L.G. is trying to connect the peace and non-resistance causes. She hopes that the abolitionists will eventually refuse to listen to pro-slavery preachers.
