This is the fifth and last in a series of five "Story of Atari" books with read-along audio recordings, each book has black and white illustrations on each page, as well as the text of the story. The story begins with evil Captain Futhark of planet Lyphoria, planning his revenge on the Atari Force, (also the name of a comic book series based on Atari games). Mean while Martin Champion, and Li San O'Rourke, members of the Atari Force's starfighter 'Scanner 1', are attacked by seven of the Krylon ships lead by Futhark. During the battle he is injured while only she is left to pilot the ship. She decides to stop running and fight the enemy. Firing all the weapons and spinning the ship she destroys all the enemies but one, and then when they are about to be destroyed by the enemy Champion awakes and helps her to avoid destruction and vanquish the enemy. Their ship speeds off "in search of further adventures." The story is then slightly changed and taken up by the comic book series, with three additional crew members of this ship. This book was released with a 7 inch (17.5 cm) record, played in 33 1/3 revolutions per minute KSR-945, and cassette tape KSC-88945.
This book is part of the Kid Stuff Records/Golden Books video game audio stories series.
