Adams and liberty was written by Thomas [i.e., Robert Treat] Paine in 1798; for other editions cf. Evans 34293-34299 and Bristol B10451-B10454A. Hail Columbia, by Joseph Hopkinson, was also written in 1798.

Place of publication suggested by Evans.
