The moon had risen and everything was enveloped with a light that seemed to come from the gods themselves.

"And so are youl" Lord Branscombe replied softly. She felt his arm go around her as he said, "This. is where I thought you would want to spend your honeymoon." She felt his lips on her hair before he said, "Long before last night I knew I loved you...."
"Y... you... really... mean that?"
"Let me convince you." For a moment he looked down at her as if he must impress her beauty on his mind for all time, then his lips were on hers. Then there was nothing else, not even the moon and the stars, but only his arms and his lips....
