Address "to the public" describing jaundicy and bilious complaints and the "method of preparing the jaundice bitters." Includes warning against counterfeits and "proofs of the efficacy of the jaundice bitters, selected from a numerous list."
Although the recommendations are all dated 1799, Jesse Wheaton did not receive a patent for his bitters until Jan. 17, 1801.
