Text continued on title page: ...with the names of the nobility and gentry, &c. as well catholick as protestant, who voluntary and generously raised, headed, and maintained great numbers for sea and land, to support their sovereign, and defend their country. Shewing our vast power and riches, contrary to the contemptible opinion had of us in Spain; also, an account of the Spainish Armada. To which are added, the examinations of many prisoners, their losses by battle, tempests and contrary winds on the coasts of Ireland, in their return from the north isles of Scotland, &c.
